In June, a similar intrusion happened when 28 Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) jets crossed Taiwan’s airspace. Moreover, on Sunday, Taiwan’s Defence Ministry informed that 19 Chinese planes entered their airspace.

According to a statement issued by Taiwan’s Defence Ministry, the infiltration of Chinese planes began on Sunday morning, which included Shaanxi Y-8 anti-submarine aircraft, Xian H-6 bombers (4), Shenyang J-16 fighter jets (10) and Russian-made SU-30 (4). Taiwan’s defence ministry confirmed a similar intrusion on Saturday, consisting of two Shaanxi Y-8 and JH-7 fighter jets.

Many countries globally, including the United States and Europe, are supporting Taiwan at various levels. A few days ago, the European Parliamentary Committee passed a resolution to strengthen relations with Taiwan. Corona vaccines are being supplied to Taiwan from European countries like Poland. As a result, the Chinese regime is infuriated, and attempts are being made to increase the pressure on Taiwan using ‘grey zone warfare’.

Since a decade from 2010, China has been using the Grey Zone Warfare and the Naval Militia, using hundreds of armed fishing boats to perpetuate and weaken Taiwan’s defence forces. A report released by the Taiwanese Ministry of Defence a few days ago highlighted China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA). There is a growing threat to China with its capabilities to neutralize Taiwan’s defence forces completely.
