China claims that Taiwan is a sovereign Chinese territory and threatens to take it over. Chinese military officials and analysts have made announcements to that effect. In this scenario, international analysts claimed that China is issuing severe threats to Taiwan through these war exercises and announcements.

Taiwanese Foreign Minister had given a strong reaction to the Chinese threat. Taiwanese Foreign Minister Joseph Wu had warned that if China attacks, Taiwan will fight the war till the very end. China had scoffed at the Taiwanese Foreign Minister’s statement and said that Taiwan would not be able to face the onslaught of the Chinese military.

Taking cognisance of the Taiwanese region’s threat, US State SecretaryBlinken, had warned China. Blinken had warned that the United States is committed to the security of Taiwan. Moreover, an attempt to change the West Pacific situation using force and attack Taiwan will be a grave mistake of China.
