US Joint Forces Command activated to stop Russia in ‘Battle of the Atlantic,’ announces NATO

Atlantic, Battle of the Atlantic, Joint Force Command, Russia, USNorfolk – NATO Commander, Vice Admiral Andrew Lewis, announced the activation of US Joint Forces Command with complete capabilities saying, ‘Security challenges in the Atlantic region have become more complex. In such a scenario, the command in Norfolk demonstrates NATO’s commitment to security and stability in the region. The command, which gives a powerful signal to deter the enemy, assures the security of North America and European countries.’ US Defence Chief, General Mark Milley, pointed out that the main task of the command is to fight the Battle of the Atlantic.

One of the commands would be in Europe and the other in the United States. During the same period, the United States also announced the resumption of the second fleet of the US navy. NATO’s new command will work jointly with this second fleet of the US navy. The new Joint Forces Command consists of more than 150 soldiers and officers.

NATO announced last week that the new command was operating at full capacity at a function held on the US navy’s Amphibious Assault Ship, the USS Kearsarge. It was also reported that the new Joint Forces Command was responsible for the first phase of the Steadfast Defender 21 exercise in May and June this year. This is the third NATO joint force command in the United States, with two joint force commands in the Netherlands and Italy in Europe.

If you know the history and have a clear idea of World War II, the importance of the conflict in the Atlantic need not be specified.’ At the same time, General Milley warned in the event of a future war in Europe and that its success will depend on the performance of the Joint Forces Command. He also pointed out that the ‘Great Power Competition’ is currently underway in the world.
