At this time, the security forces gave a fitting reply to the terrorists.

Three terrorists killed in an encounter at PulwamaThree terrorists were killed in the encounter that ensued. The terrorists have been identified. The officials informed that Jehangir Rafiq Wani, Raja Umar Maqbool Bhatt and Uzer Ahmed Bhatt are the names of the killed terrorists. Military, Special Operations Group, CRPF and Jammu-Kashmir police participated in the action. The slain terrorists are said to be from the terrorist organisation Ansar Ghazwat-Ul-Hind (AGH).

These terrorists were responsible for the killing of common civilians Merajuddin Zargar and Gulam Nabi Meer.

Jehangir Rafiq Wani is said to be a member of the terrorist organisation Hizbul Mujahidin. Jehangir was the commander of Hizbul in Tral area. He had taken over after the death of Commander Hammad Khan.

The chief of the organisation, Zakir Musa was killed in an encounter in the month of May last year, in the Tral area. Thereafter Al Qaeda handed over the reins of the organisation AGH to Hamid Lone AKA Hamid Lalhari. But he too was killed in the month of October.

The all-out actions of the security forces in Jammu-Kashmir, have severely rocked all the terrorist organisations operational in the region. New recruitments have stopped and with abrogation of article 370, the Pakistani help also has dried up. At the same time, many of the supporters of these terrorists have been placed under arrest. This has made it very difficult for the terrorists to launch any attacks. The action of the security forces has clearly reduced the influence and capabilities of the terrorist organisations. Organisation like Jaish-E-Mohammed is trying to launch joint attacks with help from the other terrorist organisations operational in Jammu-Kashmir. These included AGH. But it has been announced in the last year itself that the AGH is finished.

After the abrogation of article 370, Pakistani terrorists are making frantic efforts to infiltrate into India. But most of these attempts are foiled because of the alert soldiers of the security forces.
