10,000 detonators seized from Maoist agent

Anantpur: – Police seized explosives and other equipment from the courier agents of Maoists, in the Anantpur city of Andhra Pradesh. 10,000 detonators and 1,098 metres of Fuse wires were seized from these agents. Detailed interrogation of these three people is being carried out and new facts are surfacing from the interrogation.

Names of these three agents supplying materials to Maoists have been revealed. Muthu Nagaraju, Ankaluta Naganna, Derungala Babu are the names of these agents. Nagaraju is the mastermind of the plot. He is a resident of Telangana. He used to supply explosives, medicines, mobile phones, Sim cards to the Maoists in Chhattisgarh. Nagaraju was in contact with the Maoists in Chhattisgarh. Nagaraju was being paid millions of Rupees in exchange.   

Nagaraju had been arrested in July last year. He was sent to custody for a few days as well. But he was released after a few months. Thereafter, he came in contact with the Maoists. A few days ago, he and his accomplices were carrying 10,000 detonators and 1.098 metres of fuse wire to Chhattisgarh. The police intercepted their vehicle, arrested these three and seized the materials.
