Berlin: The discussion with US President Donald Trump at the G7 Conference in Canada, was boring and disheartening, criticised German Chancellor Angela Merkel. At the same time, Merkel also warned that the European Union will reply strongly to the taxes imposed by the United States on the European countries. Despite repeated discussions with the European leaders, Trump has maintained his aggressive stance.

While the tension between the European countries and the United States is rising on the trade and other issues. Chancellor Merkel has justified the stance for continuation of dialogue with Russia. Merkel further said, that many issues like Ukraine and Syria require participation from Russia, but at the same time, Merkel also claimed that the proposal presented for Russian entry into G7 was not very satisfactory.
