Erdogan govt is connected to Turkish criminal gangs: Turkish mafia don Sedat Peker alleges

Ankara / Dubai: Turkish mafia, Sedat Peker, made a sensational accusation that Turkish President Recep Erdogan and the ministers of his government are closely connected to the criminal gangs. Former Turkish minister of interior, Mehmet Agar, is the chief of the country’s ‘Deep State’. Moreover, he is involved in the assassination of opposition leaders, journalists and the gang of drug smugglers, said Peker. These accusations by Peker have severely jolted the Erdogan regime. Besides, the ruling AKP party’s popularity and slid down to 27%.

Over the last few years, President Erdogan has taken several steps to strengthen his rule in Turkey. While doing so, he has been accused of finishing his opposition leaders. For this, the Erdogan government has allegedly sought the help of extremist groups and criminal gangs alongside the defence system. A few years ago, the press reported that Erdogan’s son and son in law were trading crude with the help of terror outfit ISIS. Against this background, the accusations against the Erdogan government leaders over the criminal gangs draw attention.  

Sedat Peker fired allegations against the Erdogan government via his videos on YouTube. In the videos, he has mentioned names of the current Turkish minister of interior, Süleyman Soylu, former Turkish PM Binali Yıldırım’s son, Erkan, former Turkish minister of interior, Mehmet Agar, his son- the AKP party leader, Tolga Agar and former intelligence senior official, Korkut Eken. Furthermore, Peker warned that he would be publishing more such videos and exposing several ministers and leaders in the Erdogan government.  

Pekar also confessed that he committed several crimes between 2014 to 2020, as per the Erdogan government ministers and leaders’ tip off. The criminal gang chief informed, in 2015, he attacked the office of Hurriyet Daily, which criticized Erdogan, as ordered by the AKP party. Peker also alleged that the ministers in the Erdogan government are responsible for the assassination of several journalists. Moreover, Peker also said that former Turkish PM Binali Yıldırım’s son, Erkan, also operates the Venezuela – Turkey drug smuggling nexus.  

However, Peker, who accused several ministers and leaders, did not directly blame President Erdogan for anything. Moreover, Peker mentioned Erdogan as ‘Brother Tayyip’ and claimed that Erdogan’s close allies kept him in the dark. But, Peker’s allegations have caused havoc in Turkey. The opposition leaders have demanded the resignation of the Turkish minister of interior, Süleyman Soylu. This has compelled President Erdogan to issue a personal statement to defend him. In the statement, he has claimed that the Turkish government has been taking aggressive action against the crimes.
