UAE warns Hamas over rocket attacks on Israel; Saudi, Egypt appeal for ceasefire

Dubai – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) warned Hamas that if they do not stop the rocket attacks into Israel, UAE will withdraw all the investment in infrastructure development in the Gaza Strip. This information was given by an official from UAE to a newspaper in Israel on anonymity. Whereas, Saudi Arabia and Egypt have appealed to stop the conflict and impose a ceasefire.

Whereas Foreign Ministers of Saudi and Egypt appealed to Israel and Hamas for a ceasefire. Egypt demanded a ceasefire at least for some hours to reach humanitarian aid.

Meanwhile, reports are being received that the Foreign Minister of Qatar held a meeting with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. At the same time, it is claimed that Qatar provided aid of $50 million to the Palestinians in Gaza.

Accusations are rife that the terrorist organisations Hamas and Islamic Jihad are receiving huge funding from Qatar and large-scale arms supplies from Iran. Against this background, this aid announced by Qatar becomes significant.
