Sanctions against Iran is the beginning of the change in the Gulf

Jerusalem: The Israeli Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman contended that the US sanctions are the beginning of a change in the Gulf with a statement ‘With one round of sanctions the United States has delivered a severe blow to the Iranian activities in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Iraq and Yemen. Lieberman also congratulated US President Donald Trump for deciding to impose the sanctions.

US President Trump has announced that all the sanctions will be re-imposed against Iran that was in place before 2015, following the US withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal signed in 2015. These sanctions target the trade sector along with the all-important oil sector. Israeli Defence Minister Lieberman welcomed the United States decision. Lieberman said that it was a courageous decision by President Trump to withdraw from the nuclear deal and to impose harsh sanctions. Lieberman claimed that this US decision would deliver a telling blow to the Iranian activities in the Gulf.
