Pakistani terrorists are connected with international syndicate of IS, India accuses in UNSC

United Nations: – India has warned that ISIS is not like the other terrorist organisation, and it is an international syndicate. Indian Deputy High Commissioner to the United Nations, R Ravindra, issued this warning in the UN Security Council meeting. The terrorist groups around the globe are connected with this organisation known as ISIS o ISIL or IS. Ravindra clarified that these also include terrorist groups from India’s neighbouring countries. Without taking names, Ravindra pointed out that the terrorist organisations from Pakistan are linked to the IS.

Ravindra presented the Indian stand while speaking in front of the United Nations’ agency investigating the serious crimes committed by the terrorist organisation IS. IS was established in Iraq and Syria. The organisation has perpetrated heinous crimes like planned massacres, torture, sexual exploitation, slavery and abduction. Therefore, IS cannot be treated as a local organisation as it is an international syndicate. India has consistently accused that Pakistan is a centre of terrorism. Without mentioning the name, Ravindra clarified that the terrorist groups in Pakistan are connected to IS.

Ravindra added further that unless the countries harbouring these terrorists, carrying out inhuman crimes, are made answerable, the credibility of the collective fight against these terrorists cannot be established. Even here, Ravindra pointed out that Pakistan kept supporting terrorists, and no action has been taken against it without naming Pakistan. Ravindra, in his speech, indicated that Pakistan has never taken the responsibility, saying that it was expected that the country from which the terrorists came should have handed out harsh punishments to these terrorists.

Meanwhile, the Taliban is again advancing to gain control over Afghanistan, while the US military is withdrawing from there. The Afghan government and the army will try to stop the Taliban. But concerns are being expressed that despite using all their might, they may not stop the Taliban for a long time. In that scenario, if the Taliban get control over Afghanistan, then Afghanistan will become a centre for terrorism, once again. A US intelligence report has expressed a concern that the terrorist organisations from Pakistan will take complete advantage of the situation and use the Afghan land to carry out saboteur activities in India and other countries. Therefore, the terrorism issue has once again surfaced as a matter of serious discussion.

In this scenario, India is pointing out that the centre of terrorism in Afghanistan is located in Pakistan and terrorism on the international level is also linked with Pakistan. At the same time, India is consistently pointing out that Pakistani terrorist activities have not stopped. This Indian effort has started receiving a response at the international level, and the European countries, too, have begun accepting the Indian stand.
