Number of Coronavirus deaths cross 100,000 in Europe, US reports more than 40,000 deaths  

London/Washington: – The Coronavirus pandemic, which is on a rampage around the world, has claimed more than 100,000 lives in Europe. More than 15,000 deaths have been reported from the European countries like Italy, Spain, France and the United Kingdom. Besides, John Hopkins University has informed that more than 40,000 deaths have been reported from the United States alone.

The highest number of deaths, 1903, were reported in the United States in the last 24 hours, whereas the total number of cases in the United States has reached 750,000. There was an addition of 28,486 new cases in the United States on Saturday. The US media have claimed that the number of deaths reported in a day has reduced for the first time. The White House has announced the relaxation of the lockdown to a certain extent.  

The European Union informed that the pandemic has claimed more than 100,000 lives in Europe. Out of these, 23,660 deaths are in Italy, 20,453 are in Spain, 19,718 are in France and 16,060 are in the United Kingdom. Other than these, 5, 683 deaths have been reported from Belgium, 4,557 from Germany, 3,684 from Netherlands and 1,393 from Switzerland. The total number of Coronavirus cases in Europe has reached 1,123,285.
