No power in the world can separate Jammu-Kashmir from India : Home Minister dares Pakistan

New Delhi : ‘No power in the world can take Jammu and Kashmir away from India. Negotiations with Pakistan can only be about Pak Occupied Kashmir (PoK). Other than this, there can be no negotiations on the Kashmir issue’, was the Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s stern warning to Pakistan. He was speaking in the Parliament on the situation in Kashmir.

Few days ago, the Prime Minister of Pakistan had claimed that Kashmir can become a part of Pakistan. Referring to this, while speaking in the Parliament, the Home Minister retaliated strongly to Pakistan. He asserted that ‘no power in the world can take Jammu and Kashmir away from India’ and that ‘there was no question of negotiating on the Kashmir issue with Pakistan.’ Rajnath Singh further stated that negotiations with Pakistan are possible only on the issue of retrieving Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Welcoming the debate in the Parliament on the issue, the Home Minister applauded the views expressed by all the members of the Parliament on this issue.

Rajnath Singh also stated that the Government is ready to hold discussions with the moderate groups in Jammu and Kashmir. However, no slogans against the country can be tolerated, warned the Home Minister. He rejected the allegation that Security Forces in the state were being harsh with the agitators. While the injured civilians number around three thousand, the number of injured soldiers is four thousand five hundred; which proves that the agitators are being dealt with in a restrained manner, Rajnath Singh said.

Meanwhile, a video clip of the Pakistani terrorist, who was apprehended alive in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, was shown in a press conference by the ‘National Investigations Agency’ (NIA). In the video clip, the terrorist Bahadur Ali has admitted that he was trained by the ‘Lashkar-e-Taiba. He further stated that it was with the guidance and the cooperation of the Pakistani army that he had managed to enter Jammu and Kashmir. With this disclosure, Bahadur has exposed the Pakistani claims.

Bahadur further informed that in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, there is a control room named ‘Alfa Three’ belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba. The terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir are planned and coordinated from here. In addition to that, the instructions for violent demonstrations in Jammu and Kashmir, are also issued from here.

Bahadur has also added that during the agitations in Jammu and Kashmir, it was ‘Lashkar’ that was instructing them to launch grenade attacks so as to escalate the tensions and lend support to the agitators.
