Iran responsible for instability and violence in Lebanon, Iraq: Israeli Prime Minister

Jerusalem: – Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett claimed, ‘Whichever country Iran enters is plagued with violence, poverty, instability and failure. Iran is holding the political systems of Iraq and Lebanon at ransom in the same manner. But soon, Iraq and Lebanon will free themselves from the grip of Iran.’ Over the last few days, the Israeli Prime Minister made these statements citing developments in Iraq and Lebanon.

Last week, there was a firing on the protests held by Hezbollah, the Iran affiliated terrorist organisation, in the Lebanese capital of Beirut. The conflict ensued in the streets of Beirut for some time after this incident. Following this incident, it is being claimed that the public outcry against Hezbollah is rising in the Lebanese population.  

Whereas an Iran affiliated group was defeated in an election held in Iraq. Muqtada Al-Sadr, the victorious candidate, has adopted an anti-Iran stand for the last few years. Therefore, the victory of Muqtada Al-Sadr is being claimed to be a jolt for Iran.   

Israeli Prime Minister Bennett targeted Iran after he met with the cabinet of ministers on Sunday. Prime Minister Bennett accused the Iran affiliated groups of holding Iraq and Lebanon at ransom. The Israeli Prime Minister claimed that viewing the developments in the last few days, the population of Lebanon and Iraq is preparing to wriggle out of the suffocating Iranian grip.
