Movements of US and Chinese warships increase in marine sector near Japan and Taiwan

Beijing: – A few weeks ago, the US warship USS Mustin patrolled in front of the Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning. China, infuriated with this US action, completed the patrolling of Liaoning and held war exercises near the Taiwanese marine region. The Chinese mouthpiece claimed that the Chinese action was a warning for the United States. At the same time, China is accusing that the US warship created obstacles in the Chinese exercises.

In the first week of April, Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning and its fleet of destroyers were patrolling the East China Sea. At that time, the US Navy published a photograph. This shows that the Chinese aircraft carrier sailed within one mile of the USS Mustin. This photo shows the commander and assistant commander of the US warship peacefully watching the movements of the Chinese warship.

The photograph published by the US Navy becomes a type of conscious incitement for war. Some analysts claimed that the picture delivers a message that the United States is not bothered about the Chinese threat. China has become extremely restless due to the patrolling of USS Mustin and the photograph.  After that, the Chinese warship Liaoning sailed near the Japanese marine region within a short period.

Liaoning patrolled near the Japanese Senkaku Island group. Global Times, the Chinese mouthpiece, reported this information. Senkaku island group is under the Japanese administration. But China is claiming rights over the island group. Japan has adopted an aggressive stand against the Chinese claim on the Senkaku islands group, and the United States has supported the Japanese stand.

As per the Chinese mouthpiece, China has issued a warning to the United States and Japan, with this patrolling by the Chinese warship, near the Senkaku islands and through the Miyako Gulf, as the US base is situated on the Okinawa Island close to the Miyako Gulf. Whereas, Wu Qian, the spokesman of the Chinese defence ministry, criticised the United States while revealing information regarding the patrolling carried out by Liaoning in the Gulf of Taiwan. The warship Liaoning was patrolling in the Chinese marine region. Qian accused that the United States threatened the region’s security by keeping a watch on the movements of Liaoning during the voyage. No reaction has been received from the US Navy on the accusations levelled by China.
