Indian Army occupies strategic positions along the Chinese border – Reports

New Delhi: – The treats issued by the Chinese government mouthpiece were resonating in the media, while the Indian and Chinese Foreign Ministers were engaged in a meeting in Moscow. At the same time, Indian news agencies claimed that the Indian Army has gained control over the strategically important Finger 4 hills, to the south of Pangong Tso Lake. This will make it difficult for the Chinese military to take action against the Indian Army in the future. Chinese government mouthpiece has passed remarks like ‘India has a misconception that China will vacate its land to avoid a war. But India has made a big strategic mistake, in assessing the Chinese moves.’ As usual, the new article in the Global Times also threatens India of dire consequences. Global Times has warned that peace cannot be established unless India withdraws its military from Ladakh and India should not have the misconception that it can overpower China, with the help of the United States.

Meanwhile, reports have been received that the Indian Army has taken over the strategically important Finger 4 hills on the Line of Actual Control. Although no details have been revealed regarding this, it is being claimed that this is a major lead taken by India in the conflict. This will make it difficult for China to push its soldiers into India, as the Indian Army will be able to spot the Chinese movements from far, sitting on the height of these hills. This has added to the Chinese restlessness and analysts are warning that the Chinese soldiers may attempt to take over these locations.

The Indian soldiers have been issued clear orders not to allow any Chinese soldier to intrude into Indian territory. The Army has been given all the necessary clearances to take any action against the intruding soldiers. These reports were being shown on the Indian news channels, since Thursday morning. Meanwhile, reports were being received of tension rising on the border, while the Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, were engaged in a meeting in Moscow. Earlier, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had a bilateral meeting with the Chinese Defence Minister, during the SCO conference in Moscow. But nothing fruitful emerged from the meeting.
