Indian Army points missiles at LAC

New Delhi: India has deployed Supersonic Brahmos missiles, surface-to-air Akash missiles and Nirbhay missiles, capable of hitting a target that is 1,000 kilometres away with precision, on the Ladakh border. At the same time, India has delivered a message that peace cannot be established on the border unless China respects the decisions made during the discussions. Indian Air Chief Marshal RK Bhadauria made a suggestive statement that neither peace nor war is there on the LAC, but the Indian Air Force is prepared to face any eventuality.

India had adopted a very aggressive stand during the discussions regarding the LAC in Ladakh. India is persisting with its demand that China, who intrudes into Indian territory time and again claiming it to be Chinese territory, should once for all clarify the final Chinese boundary. China, cornered with this demand, started singing the tune that talks can be held after India withdraws its military from the border. But India is not willing to trust China this time. The Indian Army has made preparations for a long stay in the freezing winter. Whereas, the Chinese soldiers, not used to these freezing temperatures, have started falling ill. Even in this scenario, the spate of Chinese threats, warnings and incitement continues.

China incited that China does not consider Ladakh as an Indian Union Territory. India has reacted to this saying that India has never accepted the Chinese unilateral stand regarding the LAC. The Indian stand is clear since 1959, and there has been no change in the Indian stand. The Indian foreign ministry has bluntly pointed out to China that peace on the border is not possible unless the decisions during the discussions are honoured. India has made China understand that India no more trusts China and a stern warning is being issued by India that India will not believe China unless there is some concrete action.

China has come to realise that the Indian preparations for the war are not verbal. China is experiencing the Indian courage of deploying Brahmos, Akash and Nirbhay missiles on the Ladakh border and pointing them at China. The Indian mechanised infantry has reached the Ladakh border, and the officials are assuring that the moral of these soldiers is at its peak. In the meantime, Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria has made a statement that there is neither peace nor war on the LAC. The Air Chief Marshal is indicating in a different way that war can break out at any time. The Indian military has already received orders for firing in case of any Chinese aggression. The Chinese mouthpiece expressed a concern that this could result in sparking of a war.

China also has realised that its threats will not have any effect on India; instead, India will keep on increasing its war preparedness. At the same time, former Chinese military officials have expressed fears that India may launch an attack to take over Aksai Chin. As per the former Indian military officials, China has changed its stance from aggressor and intruder to defender. In this scenario, a German company has exposed that the Chinese claims regarding its defence equipment are hollow. China had said that it had stealth jets, helicopters and missiles, capable of dodging any radar system. The German company has said that these claims have no substance as China does not have this advanced technology. Therefore, the Chinese claim that it will easily overpower India in an actual war scenario seems to have been disposed of.
