China, General Narvane, India, Indian Army, LACIn the wake of tensions over the LAC in Ladakh, China threatened to release sensational news in India. For this, China is trying to use its government media very cleverly. It is also trying to use a group of Western media under its influence for this purpose. According to the report, China had infiltrated India’s LAC and started construction on a large scale. Not only that, but talks had also stated that the construction posed a threat to Indian security. But Army Chief General Naravane clarified that there was no fact in the claims.

The Army Chief said that China has not been allowed to lay a single brick on the Indian side of the LAC. The army chief also said that as decided, the Indian and Chinese deployment at the LAC in Ladakh has also been reduced. Army chief General Naravane said no construction in the disputed area; the reports are false. However, General Naravane did not rule out that China was carrying out large-scale military operations in areas under its control over the LAC. He also hinted that China was carrying out large-scale construction activity within its side of the LAC. However, the Army Chief pointed out that India could not object to this.

Chinese attempt to increase pressure on India had failed; India deployed equivalent troops at the LAC in Ladakh. Subsequently, China had planned to open a second front by launching a military operation at the LAC near Arunachal Pradesh. After receiving a reply from the Indian Army, China had tried to create the impression that it was dominating India by using various tactics. This is evidenced by reports of Chinese troops infiltrating India’s LAC and carrying out construction activities. However, pointing out that this is part of China’s propaganda, Army Chief General Naravane has once again responded to false Chinese propaganda.
