A few days ago, motorcyclists chased some Indian officials, in capital Islamabad. Infamous Pakistani intelligence agency ISI keeps making such efforts to scare the Indian officials. The Indian officials published a video of this chase. India asked Pakistan for an explanation in the matter. Just a few days after the incident, the matter of two missing Indian employees surfaced. Indian embassy, acting swiftly, informed the Indian foreign ministry regarding the missing employees. The Indian media highlighted the report. Indian foreign ministry registered a complaint with the Pakistan government, taking a stern stand. Pakistan was forced to release these two staffers of the Indian embassy, because of the strict stand taken by the Indian foreign ministry. Pakistan tried to a coverup by saying that these two employees had a suspected involvement in the fake currency racket and they were detained for inquiries. It is revealed that these Indian staffers were in ISI custody and were beaten for a few hours. Pakistani diplomats were caught red-handed during espionage activities and were expelled by India. Pakistan is trying to avenge the Indian action. Therefore, the possibility of Indian officers and staff members posted at the Indian embassy in Pakistan, facing such harassment, has increased manifold. Pakistan had recalled its High Commissioner to India, following the abrogation of article 370, awarding special status to Jammu-Kashmir, by India. Thereafter, there has been no political dialogue between the two countries. Now, while Pakistan is harassing the Indian officials and staffers in the Indian embassy in Pakistan, trampling all the international laws and protocols, India is contemplating a reduction in the number of employees in its embassy in Pakistan. This has further strained the relations between the two countries.
