India’s Mini Devi Kumam, Second Secretary responded to Pakistan’s Maleeha Lodhi allegations at UNHRC. Kumam while slamming Pakistan said that Pakistan is blatantly violating human rights in Baluchistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Pakistan has been using terrorism as a state policy for long time. Terrorism itself is the grossest violation of human rights. Hence no one should fall prey for Pakistan’s ploy as they have long been attempting to mask its territorial ambitions under the guise of concern for human rights. It has become a habit of Pakistan to misuse the UNHRC platform to mislead the world, criticized Mini Kumam Devi.

Last year, while responding to Kashmir issue raised at the United Nations by Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan, India described Pakistan as “Terroristan” which did go down well with them. But now India has claimed Pakistan to be a ‘Special Terrorist Zone’ criticising it more severely. Kumam said that India is creating ‘special economic zones’ in its land whereas Pakistan is emphasizing on ‘special terrorist zones’ and is still supporting terrorism.
