India, Indian Vaccination, vaccination, vaccination drive, Corona vaccine, Indian Vaccines, 100 Crore, Coronavirus, China,India has reached the milestone of 100 crores COVID vaccinations in just 279 days. China claims to have given even more vaccines to its population. But questions have been raised internationally about the effectiveness and reliability of China’s vaccines. Thus, China’s claims were largely ignored at the international level. However, India’s performance on this front is being appreciated at the international level.

The prime minister stated that the country has built a strong defence against the corona pandemic by crossing the 100 crore vaccinations mark. It was a collective achievement of 1.3 billion Indians. The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude towards the researchers, industries, and social organisations’ contributions in strengthening the country’s health sector.

Even developed countries with advanced health care systems have not had much success on the vaccination front. Therefore, with this performance, India has forced the whole world to take notice. Some international media had criticised the Indian vaccination target as unrealistic. The media had claimed that there was a mismatch between the targets set by India and the health facilities in the country. Against that backdrop, India’s success is becoming more pronounced.
