Illegal immigrants will not be sheltered in UK, announces Internal Security Minister Priti Patel

London: – British Internal Security Minister Priti Patel announced the country’s policy in strong words. ‘Illegal intrusion is a part of organised crime and against the national interests of the United Kingdom. The criminal gangs involved in immigrant intrusion are also involved in serious offences like narcotics and arms smuggling, and violence. If proper attention is not paid to these issues, this could create major stress on the public services in the United Kingdom. Many innocent people have lost their lives in these incidents of illegal intrusion. Henceforth, anybody entering the United Kingdom through the illegitimate and illegal routes will not be given shelter in the United Kingdom.’

After exiting from the European Union, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who announced ‘Global Britain’, indicated major changes and improvements in many sectors. One of the issues among them is the issue of displaced and immigrants, and the plan announced by Internal Security Minister Priti Patel forms a part of this. As per the ‘New Plan for Immigration’, the displaced and immigrants will be given asylum in the United Kingdom only through a legal process. The process of deporting illegal entrants and those given temporary shelter will be made faster, harsher and easier.

While presenting ‘New Plan for Immigration’ in front of the British Parliament, Internal Security Minister Priti Patel reminded Prime Minister Boris Johnson to regain British sovereignty. Accusing the European Union of neglecting displaced and immigrants, she claimed that the British government has stopped the Free Movement. Priti Patel justified the ‘New Plan for Immigration’, saying that it is necessary to resolve the problem of displaced and immigrants for proper control over the country’s borders.

In this new British plan, indications have been given that an independent agency will be created to process the immigrants. As reported by the British media, the Johnson government may create facilities for the immigrants on Gibraltar island, but the report could not be confirmed. The new plan announced by Priti Patel is the biggest step taken by the United Kingdom regarding the displaced and immigrants in the last two decades.
