Human Rights Commission accuses Russia of killing 544 people killed in action in Syria

Third World WarDamascus: A minimum of 544 people, including 133 children, have been killed in the Russian action in the Idlib and surrounding regions in Syria. The Syrian human rights organisation has accused the Russian and Syrian fighter jets of attacking the civilian settlements and medical services. Whereas, Syria has claimed that it is targeting the terrorists in that region.

russia, human rights commission, syriaSince the last two months, a fierce conflict is going on in the northwestern province of Idlib, in Syria. The Syrian military and Russian fighter jets are carrying out airstrikes in Idlib, Hama and surrounding areas. The Syrian government has claimed that the action, which started on 26th April, is to target the terrorists and the armed anti-government rebels. But the human rights organisations in Syria have rubbished these claims of the Syrian government.

544 people were killed, and 2117 people were injured in the attacks carried out in the last two months. These human rights organisations have accused the Syrian military and Russian fighter jets of knowingly attacking the civilian settlements and medical centres. Whereas, a US-based human rights organisation has accused that Russia has violated the United Nations’ code in the Syrian conflict. The US human rights organisation claimed that Russia used ”Cluster bombs’ in the Idlib region. The United States had accused the Syrian government, in the past, of using Sarin Gas,in Idlib.
