Hezbollah prepared for war with Israel: Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah

Beirut/Tehran: – Hezbollah that launched 19 rocket attacks on Friday directly threatened Israel with war. Hassan Nasrallah, the Chief of Hezbollah, said that these attacks were just the beginning. Hezbollah could intensify the attacks. Hezbollah is ready for a war with Israel, which Hezbollah will definitely win. Iran has welcomed the rocket attacks by Hezbollah. A senior Iranian military official has warned that Israel will be finished in the next war.

Last week, 19 rockets hit the Israeli border from southern Lebanon. The Israeli army successfully intercepted ten of these rockets, while some landed on the open grounds. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, saying they were carried out in retaliation of the Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon two days ago. Hezbollah terrorists claimed responsibility for the attacks by issuing a leaflet on social media.  

On Saturday, Hezbollah leader Nasrallah threatened Israel with a video, as the rocket attacks increased tensions on the Israeli-Lebanese border. Nasrallah warned ‘Israel should not be under the wrong impression that Hezbollah is engaged in Lebanese internal affairs. Hezbollah will respond in its way to Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon. That is the message delivered with the rocket attacks on Israel’.  

Nasrallah claimed ‘Hezbollah has always said that we do not want war. It has been 15 years since the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah. But now Hezbollah is ready for a war against Israel and Hezbollah can defeat Israel in this war’. Hezbollah has various options for launching attacks on Israel, but attacks on Israeli-held Golan Heights is one of them, Nasrallah said. Nasrallah threatened Israel on this occasion.  

Hezbollah had launched rocket attacks on Israel on Friday. The next day, Major General Hossein Salami, the head of Iranian Revolutionary Guards, visited Lebanon. During the visit, Major General Salami called on Sheikh Naeem Qasim, Hezbollah’s number two leader. Major General Salami has backed the rocket attacks carried out by Hezbollah and Iranian military officials threatened that Israel’s end is near.  

Israel, meanwhile, has taken note of Hezbollah’s threat of war by launching rocket attacks into Israeli border regions. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, on Sunday, blamed Lebanon for Hezbollah’s rocket attacks. He also reminded the Lebanese government of growing resentment among Lebanese people against Hezbollah and its mastermind Iran. Prime Minister Bennett warned that if the Lebanese government does not take timely action against Hezbollah attacking Israel, the Lebanese government will be responsible for the consequences.
