First human trials of Oxford University’s Coronavirus vaccine successful

London: As per the information given by The Lancet Medical Journal, one of the renowned Medical publications, scientists at Oxford University have successfully completed the first human trial of the vaccine for Coronavirus. The Lancet also said that this vaccine creates resistance power against the Coronavirus in the human body. The news regarding the successful test of a vaccine by Oxford University comes as a huge relief in the fearful atmosphere created by the Coronavirus pandemic.

oxford-vaccine Nearly 1,077 volunteers from the United Kingdom were given a dose of the vaccine at Oxford University. Lancet informed that the vaccine was given to people in the 18-55 age group. After nearly 56 days of monitoring, the vaccine created antibodies and T-Cells to fight the Coronavirus in the human body. The concerned journal has said that the T-Cells produce resistance power to fight against the Coronavirus. Satisfaction is being expressed on the success achieved by Oxford University in the first human trials. Some of the researchers from the journal have cautioned that the final verdict will be made only after the human trials in the third phase.

On the other hand, the spread of Coronavirus is increasing in leaps and bounds, and 259,848 new cases were reported from around the world, in the last 24 hours. John Hopkins University from the United States gave this information. John Hopkins University said that this is for the first time that more than 250,000 new cases have been reported in one day. Out of these, 63,872 cases have been reported from the United States. More than 60,000 cases have been reported from the United States for the sixth successive day. Following the United States, Brazil reported more than 40,000 new cases of Coronavirus. The total number of Coronavirus Cases around the globe has reached near 15 million.
