Empires based on terror don’t last long, Indian PM warns Taliban

New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the forces that seek to build their empire based on terror might dominate for a while. But these destructive forces cannot hold back humanity for long. The use of terror cannot crush faith. The temple of Lord Somnath, which has been rebuilt so many times, despite repeated demolitions, is the source of the same confidence and reassurance to the world, including India’. As the Taliban’s terrorist regime is being established in Afghanistan, the prime minister has conveyed India’s stand regarding the Taliban.

Narendra Modi, Taliban, AfghanistanThrough virtual means, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Somnath Temple in Gujarat and other projects related to this temple. Speaking on occasion, the Prime Minister gave an example of the history of the Somnath Temple. He said that the temple was rebuilt, despite repeated destruction by the attackers. An empire based on terror cannot last long. This was true while some of the attackers demolished the Somnath temple, which is just as accurate today, with the fear of this mentality looming’. Prime Minister Modi seems to have given this warning to the Taliban, which is preparing to establish a regime in Afghanistan, on the strength of terror.

Since the US military withdrawal began, the Taliban used military force to seize power in Afghanistan. But in doing so, Taliban leaders have consistently said that they do not threaten neighbouring countries, especially India. But now, the brutal, terrorist face of the Taliban is becoming clear to the world. Taliban militants have been firing indiscriminately on unarmed Afghan people who oppose them. At the same time, the Taliban disposition against India, which continues with its embassies and development projects in Afghanistan, is also becoming evident.

Taliban militants infiltrated the Indian embassy in Herat and Kandahar and tried to get some documents from there. It is also reported that the Taliban left with embassy vehicles. At the same time, there are reports of Taliban militants besieged the embassy in Kabul. At the same time, the Taliban is urging India not to close its embassy in Afghanistan. Besides, it also assured Indian diplomats that the Taliban poses no threat to them. However, India does not believe it.

Many countries are reluctant to openly stand against the Taliban, as their officials and citizens are still trapped in Afghanistan. Like Russia and China, the Taliban are pushing for India to recognize and authorize its occupation of Afghanistan. But India, European countries and even Japan have indicated that they will not trust the Taliban. But a clear message is being sent by democratic countries that if the Taliban tries to rule on the strength of terror, it will not be recognized.

The Prime Minister of India also issued this strong warning to the Taliban; his warning – the regime established on the strength of terror will not last long applies to the Taliban and Pakistan and China that are behind the Taliban. At the UN Security Council meeting, Foreign Minister Jaishankar had also warned that there was no alternative but to take a tough stance against terrorism. Foreign Minister Jaishankar has called on the Security Council not to hesitate to expose the countries pampering the terrorists.

By accepting this tough stance, India seems to have given a strong signal to the Taliban. A strong anti-Taliban public opinion has been formed in Afghanistan, and India’s firm stance could further strengthen the morale of the Afghan people.
