Coronavirus claims more than 7,500 lives around the world  

Washington: – Coronavirus has claimed more than 7,500 lives in the last 24 hours around the world, and the number of deaths reported from the United States in one single day is 2,300. This takes the total number of deaths around the world because of the pandemic to 129,099, and nearly 500,000 patients have recovered fully after treatment. But concerns are being expressed as the number of cases has doubled in the last two weeks.

The highest number of deaths in a single day have been reported from the United States. As per the information published by Hopkins University, the total number of deaths reported from the United States is 28,300. Nearly 20% of the total number of deaths reported from around the world are from the United States. Whereas, more than 25,000 new cases have been reported from the US in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the US to 614,246.  

761 people have died in the pandemic in the United Kingdom in the last 24 hours, and 4,600 new cases have been reported. The number of Coronavirus cases in the United Kingdom has reached near a hundred thousand. A recent survey demonstrated that the British people are cooperating with the government in the war against Coronavirus. But the pandemic has created tremendous stress in the British economy, and British Finance Minister Rishi Sunak warned that the British economy would have to be prepared for severe aftereffects in the times to come.   

146 deaths have been reported from Japan, and there are 8,100 cases of Coronavirus. Japanese health ministry published a report with respect to the pandemic. The health ministry has expressed fear that if a vaccine is not developed soon for Coronavirus, there will be more than 400,000 deaths in Japan. The report also says that the 850 thousand patients infected by Coronavirus will be needing ventilators.
