New York: Joe Biden should immediately start moves to open a dialogue with China, after becoming the President of the United States. Senior US Statesman Henry Kissinger warned that otherwise a fierce conflict like the first world war could flareup. The dialogue system between the United States and China has been completely dismantled during President Trump’s tenure. Kissinger underlined the importance of the dialogue saying that therefore, the disputes between the two countries could culminate in a military conflict and given the advances in the war techniques, the situation can get out of hand at any time.

He has served in important positions like the US Secretary of State and National Security Advisor. In 1972, it was Kissinger, who was responsible for establishing cooperation between the United States and China, isolating Russia. It is also claimed that the United States emerged victorious in the Cold War, only due to the statesmanship of Henry Kissinger. Kissinger has repeatedly been saying that the possibility of a US-China war has increased because of the aggressive policies of President Trump against China. Kissinger is suggesting that Joe Biden, after becoming the President, should once again establish the dialogue process and attach the highest priority to this process.

The US-China dispute could culminate into a war. Kissinger warned that in view of the advances in the war techniques, it would be tough to keep the conflict under control and this will not be affordable for anyone. Kissinger has advised that therefore, Biden needs to make moves to re-establish the dismantled dialogue process with China. Kissinger claimed that not streamlining relations with China will amount to entering into a new cold war.

Kissinger said that the coronavirus crisis ravaging the world needs to be taken as a lesson. All the countries in the world are fighting the coronavirus crisis on an individual level. Kissinger made a suggestive statement that for a long-term solution against the crisis, it has to be remembered that international cooperation only will help and we must learn a lesson from this.
