On 12th July, Hague International Court declared that China does not have rights in the entire South China Sea area. After which the United States, Japan and Australia targeted and warned China to respect International Court’s decision. These three allied countries targeted China openly in ASEAN conference.

In this background, Global Times, a nationalistic tabloid strongly criticized Australia’s approach while putting forward a strong attitude of China government.

China’s mouthpiece, Global Times attacked Australia calling it a ‘delirious’country with an ‘inglorious’ history. “Australia is known to be Britain’s jail and then its colony, a source of raw materials, overseas market and a land of investment. This country was established through uncivilized means, in a process filled with the tears of the aboriginals.” criticized China’s mouthpiece.

This mouthpiece went on to accuse Australia that it is now daring to blame China to keep secure economic relationship with the US. For this China should take revenge with Australia and make them realize their wrong behavior. Australia is very small in front of China’s power so if Australia will interfere in the South China Sea issue, it will be an ideal target for China to warn and strike.

China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, has issued a warning to the US and Japan for interfering in the South China Sea dispute.

Along with this, China’s mouthpiece also targeted the United States calling it a ‘paper tiger’ that has no power in a dispute with China on the South China Sea issue. As compared with it China’s Navy has much more strength and power, said this newspaper. The editorial closed with one final insult saying that “Australia is not even a ‘paper tiger,’ it is only a ‘paper cat’ at best.” Even earlier this newspaper has strongly targeted China’s opponents.

Meanwhile China’s President, Xi Jinping, addressed soldiers of ‘People’s Liberation Army’ on the occasion of 89th foundation day of the PLA. Jinping instructed China’s soldiers to work strongly and be prepared to win the future battles, should the situation arise.
