China reports isolating 1000 cases of a new epidemic in Wuhan

Beijing: The Chinese government has claimed to have gained complete control over the Novel Coronavirus in the country. Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Wuhan and videos of the visit were released. However, reports reveal the city is experiencing a new epidemic. Chinese health agencies have isolated more than 1,000 patients of the latest outbreak.

The local administration had announced the resumption of railway services connecting Wuhan with three cities in the Hubei province in the next two days. Even so, the local administration has now warned people not to leave their homes. The citizens were instructed not to leave their homes unless there was an emergency. The orders were given after the detection of a new epidemic in Wuhan and other parts of China.

The locals and some media outlets have informed that 1,075 cases of the new epidemic were recorded. The symptoms of the patients infected with this epidemic have not been determined like the ones in COVID-19. These patients are thus believed to have been isolated and placed under medical observation. At the same time, the Chinese media said that the country had decided to test more than 10 million people in Wuhan.

China is not willing to disclose any information regarding the new epidemic. Also, the country is unlikely to reveal whether this viral infection is the new wave of the Coronavirus or a new epidemic altogether, anytime soon. Nevertheless, the new epidemic that has originated in China has further added to the concerns of the world.
