China biggest threat to US and western countries: former US NSA

Washington/Beijing – Former US National Security Advisor John Bolton warned that China is the biggest threat of the 21st century to the United States’ existence and the entire western world. Bolton warned that the time has come for the western world, including the United States, to stand united against the threat of the Chinese communist party. As per the reports, efforts are being made to set up a dialogue between US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Against this background, the warning issued by Bolton becomes significant.

During an interview with the LBC radio station in the United Kingdom, Bolton targeted China over the Coronavirus pandemic. Bolton advised, ‘The Chinese communist party hid the origin of Coronavirus. Created obstacles in the international level investigation into the origin of the Coronavirus pandemic. Against all this background, western countries should purposefully doubt the Chinese intentions. The desire to stand united against China should become stronger. Not only the criteria and policies, but even the actions against China have to be tough.’

Bolton criticised that the International community has not responded appropriately against the Coronavirus pandemic issue. This is a dangerous development and opens the gates for terrorist organisations to launch biological attacks; China has to be held responsible for this. Bolton also advised that finding the origin of Coronavirus is necessary; there cannot be two opinions regarding this. It will be a major blunder if the international community is not going to move in that direction.

The former US NSA warned that the western countries should remember that Jinping is the most powerful leader, after Mao Zedong, who brought about the communist revolution in China. Bolton also claimed that this is the right time to stop China, which is becoming stronger and aggressive under the leadership of Jinping.

The resentment against China is rising over issues like the Coronavirus pandemic, human rights violations, and the South China Sea activities. The aggressive tones emanating from the G-7 summit and the NATO meeting, held in the last few days, are considered a part of the same sentiment. Although the United States and Europe have joined hands against China, there is no aggression in their actions.
