UK includes Pakistan in the list of dangerous countries

London/Islamabad: The United Kingdom published the list of 21 dangerous countries, including Pakistan, connected with terrorist funding and illegal financial transactions. A few days ago, the United Kingdom had published a Red List of countries to stop the Corona pandemic in the country. In this, the United Kingdom had imposed restrictions on people coming to the United Kingdom from Pakistan. Both these developments come as a major jolt for Pakistan. Noises are being heard from Pakistan that it has been exposed, once again, that no one respects Pakistan.

The United Kingdom has taken a tough decision to include Pakistan in the list of 21 dangerous countries, alongside North Korea and Iran and countries like Botswana, Senegal, Zimbabwe and Nicaragua. Many Pakistani citizens travel to the United Kingdom every year. Besides, Pakistan depends on the United Kingdom for many other reasons. In this scenario, this British decision comes as a huge shock for Pakistan. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, Spokesperson Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, alleged that political motives prompted this decision.

Chaudhri said that there are no proofs to come to such a decision and there are political motives behind the decision. But the United Kingdom justified the decision saying that it was necessary to take this decision against the countries not having transparency in the economic transactions. Currently, Pakistan is struggling to escape from the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force. In this scenario, the Pakistani media are claiming that the United Kingdom has Black Listed Pakistan.
