Attacks on Kabul airport worsen the situation in Afghanistan

Washington – No terrorist group has yet claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing at Kabul airport. Some US officials have expressed scepticism about IS (Islamic State). Former staffers at the US defence headquarters, Pentagon, said in a statement that the attack was carried out by the Taliban or a group within the Taliban. Analysts also point out the Taliban’s announcement that it will not allow Afghan land to be used for terrorism has angered terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda and IS.

The United States, the United Kingdom and Germany have warned of possible terrorist attacks on Kabul airport. The security of the airport was threatened due to the enormous crowd that had gathered here. In such a situation, terrorist organisations carried out suicide attacks here and shocked the whole world.
