Attacks on Iranian military bases in Syria, 12 soldiers from Iran-affiliated groups killedThe human rights organisation based in the United Kingdom also confirmed the report of the Syrian news agency. Eyewitnesses said that fierce attacks were carried out on all the three bases at around 1 am on Thursday. The human rights quoting the eyewitnesses present at the site informed that major fires broke out at the bases because of the attacks. Brigadier General Hidai Zilberman, the spokesman of the Israeli defence forces, said that a note had been taken of the reports published in the Syrian media. Israel has already clarified that the military activities of Iran, who has entered Syria under the pretext of protecting the President Bashar Al-Assad government, will not be tolerated. Israel had accused that under the disguise of the Syrian conflict, Iran, Hezbollah and other Iran-affiliated groups are smuggling weapons to be used against Israel. At the same time, Israel has said that the increasing deployment of Iran and Iran-affiliated groups near the Golan border is a threat for Israeli security.

Israel has already declared that therefore, the Iranian military movements, locations and weapons depots will consistently remain on an Israeli target. Israel does not accept the responsibility after carrying out these attacks. But the Israeli defence forces had revealed that Israel has carried out more than 400 airstrikes in Syria.

Currently, even Turkey is carrying out attacks in Syria. The Syrian military is retaliating against that too. Furious reactions are being received from Turkey. On the other hand, Israel is targeting Iran and Iran-affiliated organisations. The Syrian military, along with Russia, is attacking the US-supported rebel groups and trying to label the activity as a counter-terror campaign.
