The Afghan military kills 135 Taliban terrorists in 24 hours

Kabul: The Afghan military killed 135 Taliban terrorists in the actions taken over the last 24 hours. The Afghan defence ministry announced that a large haul of arms has been seized from these terrorists and the explosives stock has been disposed of. Meanwhile, Ahmad Zia Saraj, Chief of Afghan intelligence agency, accused that there has been an increase in the Taliban attacks after the announcement of US military withdrawal.

The Afghan military kills 135 Taliban terrorists in 24 hoursThe Afghan military carried out violent actions, against the Taliban, in the 12 provinces of Laghman, Logar, Wardak, Herat, Ghor, Baghlan, Faryaab, Takhar, Kunduz, Balkh and Kandahar. As per the information published by the Afghan defence ministry, 132 Taliban terrorists were killed in action and 92 were injured. Afghan defence ministry clarified that 92 IED explosives seized from the terrorists were diffused. The Afghan defence ministry also announced that the Afghan military would continue with these actions to maintain peace and stability and ensure the country’s integrity.

On Tuesday, Saraj, the Chief of Afghan intelligence, revealed this information. At the same time, Saraj also accused that there is no effect on the Taliban attacks. There has been an increase of 24% in the Taliban attacks since they signed the peace agreement with the United States. Saraj accused that after President Biden announced complete military withdrawal, the attacks have increased significantly. Saraj said that the Taliban assisted Al Qaeda and IS to set up their bases in Afghanistan. Saraj told the journalists that 60% of the IS terrorists are from Pakistan. Saraj informed that 407 IS terrorists have been arrested until date, which includes IS leader Aslam Farooqui from Pakistan. Saraj levelled a serious allegation that the IS terrorists that enter Afghanistan travel through Turkey, Iran and Pakistan, before entering Afghanistan.
