Washington/Moscow: – Coronavirus claimed 1,435 lives in the United States, in the last 24 hours and the total number of Coronavirus deaths in the United States has crossed 66,000. Significant levels of Coronavirus cases have also been reported from Russia, Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil, along with the United States.
The total number of Coronavirus deaths around the world have reached 245,491 and more than 50,000 patients are said to be in critical condition. The total number of Coronavirus cases has crossed 3.5 million and 1,132,667 people have won the battle against the virus. 1,165, 868 cases have been reported from the United States alone. The number of new cases reported from the states of New Jersey, Florida and Connecticut are decreasing, whereas, warnings are being issued that the numbers are on the rise in the states of Texas, Arizona and Tennessee. One thousand new cases were reported from the state of Texas, on Saturday.
Coronavirus deaths in Italy have reached 28,710 and there were 474 new cases reported from the country, in the last 24 hours. There are 1,500 patients in critical condition. Italy has a population of nearly 60 million and 1.4 million people have been screened, so far. 328 deaths were reported from the United Kingdom in the last 24 hours and the total number of deaths has reached 28,489. British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, cautioned the people of the United Kingdom, during an interview related to the issue. At the same time, Prime Minister Johnson said that he had prepared an emergency plan like Stalin, in case the Coronavirus infection threatened his life.
Reports are being received that the pandemic is gaining momentum, even in Russia. The pandemic has claimed 58 lives in Russia, in the last 24 hours. This takes the total number of deaths in Russia, to 1,280. 10,663 new Coronavirus cases have been reported from Russia, taking the total number to 134,687. President Vladimir Putin has expressed concerns over the situation in the country. President Putin once again warned the Russian people ‘The situation in Russia is grim and the pandemic is yet to erupt in the country fully.’
Meanwhile, the number of Coronavirus cases in Brazil has reached nearly a hundred thousand. Whereas, 1,300 new cases have been reported from Brazil, in the last 24 hours.
