Violations of Iranian airspace will not go unanswered, warns Iranian Commander

Third World WarTehran: Commander of the Iranian army, Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi Fard warned Iran’s enemies that they should not test its air defence capabilities as it will gain nothing. Instead, they will be subjected to utter humiliation. The warning came on the sidelines of the commencement of air defence drills in Iran. It appeared that the warning issued by Iranian Commander was meant for the US and Israel.

During the exercises, the air defence systems were tested, and Brigadier General Sabahi Fard claimed that their system could intercept and counter the enemy’s air attack. “If the enemy intends to invade, attack or even infringe on our country’s skyline, which is one of our red lines. We can deal with it,” further warned Sabahi Fard.

Meanwhile, four days ago, Israel had destroyed the Iranian military base and weapons warehouses in Syria. Besides, Israel has warned Iran, who has been threatening Israel that it cannot remain safe in any corner of the world. While just two days ago, the biggest warship of the US, USS Abraham Lincoln has entered the Persian Gulf. Against this backdrop, the Iranian air defence drills and the warning given by Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi Fard assumes greater significance.
