US-UK paying the price for sheltering extremists, warns think tank

Washington – The think tank ‘Policy Research Group’ warned that the United States and the United Kingdom are giving asylum to the Pakistani youth in all good faith and intentions. But both the nations and the other western countries have failed to control the extremism in these youth. These western countries are paying a dear price for this. The think tank has quoted incidents from the arrest of Omar Sheikh in 1994 to the attack on the Jewish place of worship in the US State of Texas, which happened four days ago.

After a three-hour struggle, the security agencies were able to kill the attacker and free the hostages. As per the information released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), this attacker Malik Faisal Akram is a Pakistani with British citizenship.

Britain, Pakistan, US,Moreover, Akram carried out this attack to secure the release of the infamous terrorist Aafia Siddiqui, also known as Lady Al Qaeda. The US court has handed out a prison term of 86 years to this terrorist for plotting an attack on the US soldiers in Afghanistan. Aafia also is a Pakistani. The think tank Policy Research Group has issued this severe warning regarding the Pakistani youth studying and taking asylum in the United Kingdom and other western countries. The western countries granted asylum to these Pakistani youth with good intentions and faith. But these youth get connected with extremism. The think tank has warned that this is becoming an increasing future threat for the security of these western countries.

The think tank has quoted incidents from 1994 to date for this purpose. Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh arrested in the Daniel Pearl case, Habib Hussain, Shahnaz Tanveer and Mohammed Sadiq Khan were three out of the four terrorists involved in the London bus-train blasts in 2005, Faisal Ahmed was arrested in 2010 for trying to fit a car bomb in the Times Square in New York and Usman Khan arrested for knife attacks Britain, Pakistan, US,on the London Bridge in 2019 were all Pakistanis.

The thinktank has pointed out that Tahawwur Rana, who was arrested in connection with the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, was originally from Pakistan. All these were linked to Al Qaeda, Taliban, IS or other terrorist organisations from Pakistan. They had been trained at terrorist camps in Pakistan. The think tank has pointed out in the report that terrorism is being exported to the United States and the United Kingdom.
