US Congress needs to take the issue of UFOs seriously: Senator Marco Rubio

Washington: – Senator Marco Rubio has adopted an aggressive stand regarding Unidentified Foreign Objects (UFO), ‘The US Congress looks at the UFOs in a weird way. Some of my colleagues from the Congress are keen to know more about them. But some people scoff at and dismiss the issue of UFOs. But this is a critical issue, and you cannot expect to get answers by discrediting it and running away. The US Congress needs to take the issue more seriously, and the processes regarding this also need to be started seriously.’

Last year, Republican Senator Marco Rubio was the chief of the intelligence committee of the US Senate. At that time, he had asked for a report on the UFOs from the Director of National Intelligence. This unclassified report will be submitted in the next month to the US Congress. Against this background, the issue of aliens and UFOs is once again on the anvil in the United States. Rubio has drawn attention to the issue, saying that the issue needs to be taken seriously, during an interview with a news channel. Rubio emphasised the seriousness of the UFOs, saying, ‘An unwanted object consistently hovering in the country’s airspace has to be considered a threat to the national security.’ Rubio also advised that it is necessary to record all the incidents and collect all the information regarding them until one comes to a concrete conclusion. It has been revealed that after the demand made by Senator Rubio, Former US President Barack Obama also confessed regarding the UFOs.

Obama said during an interview that he had seen footage of the UFOs during his tenure as the President. Obama said, ‘No one has been able to explain what these things are. The movement pattern has also not still been understood. The US agencies and officials are seriously investigating them.’ Interviews of former pilots and senior officials from the US defence forces are also being aired, in the media, along with Rubio and Obama. These include Lue Elizondo, former director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program and former pilot Ryan Graves. Pilot Ryan Graves made a sensational claim during an interview that he and his squadron encountered UFOs consistently for two years.

In 2017, the US defence department officially accepted that research was being carried out in the existence of UFOs. Between 2007 and 2012, the US defence department had formed a special group to collect information regarding UFOs. After that, in 2017 and 2018, the US media and other groups published videos of UFOs. In September 2019, the US navy accepted that these videos were authentic.
