US Conspiracy to bring the Iranian economy to a standstill with Rouhani

Tehran: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani alleged that the efforts to stop the Coronavirus epidemic is putting a tremendous strain on the Iranian economy. In this scenario, the United States wants to bring the Iranian economy to a standstill with economic sanctions and this is a part of the larger conspiracy against Iran.’ At the same time, the Iranian President appealed to the people of the United States, to pressurise their government to withdraw the economic sanctions imposed against Iran.

Nowruz, the Persian new year was celebrated in Iran on Friday. During his address on this occasion, President Rouhani appealed to the citizens, to unite against the Coronavirus crisis. President Rouhani said that the Coronavirus threat is not only a health hazard but a threat to humanity. Rouhani clarified that therefore, there is a need for the whole world to get united to fight the virus.

After this, the Iranian President appealed to US citizens. Rouhani announced ‘The adversaries are trying to create obstacles in the Iranian health systems and create an economic crisis in Iran. But this will affect the fight against the pandemic. Therefore, the people of the United States should unite and pressurise the US administration to withdraw the economic sanctions imposed by the Trump administration and the US Congress, against Iran. The pandemic will not spare Iran, France, the United Kingdom and even the United States.’ Thereafter, the Iranian President criticised the sanctions imposed by the United States.

Meanwhile, the United States has accused Iran, who is criticising the sanctions, of being responsible for the instability in the Gulf. The United States has also accused Iran of being responsible for the rocket attacks on the US military bases in Iraq, in the last few weeks.
