UK should lead the front against Iran instead of US

Washington/London – ‘The United Kingdom, the United States, Saudi Arabia and Israel should open up an international front and respond strongly to the Khamenei regime in Iran, which is terrorising the Middle East with its nuclear program and its military might. Bolton’s remarks clearly show growing resentment in the United States over President Biden’s leadership and his foreign policies.

The Israeli ship Mercer Street was attacked by drones last month. Two crew members were killed in the attack, which struck off the coast of Oman. One of them was a British citizen. The United Kingdom and Israel have blamed Iran for the attack. The incident evoked strong reactions from Israel and the United Kingdom, who sent special forces to East Yemen. The media had said that the United Kingdom made the deployment to take action against the country, or its affiliates, which were responsible for the death of the British citizen.

In an article written for a British newspaper, John Bolton, former US national security adviser and former ambassador to the United Nations, recommended that the United Kingdom should lead the front against Iran. Bolton clarified in the article that the President was only elected to support the extremist supremo. Former US security adviser has claimed that US President Joe Biden will not be able to stand up to Iran’s extremist leadership.

Bolton said strong leadership was needed to open the international front of European allies, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Israel, in Middle East against Iran. ‘British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has already shown his leadership strength. Therefore, Johnson should lead the international front against Iran, formed with the United States, European countries, Israel, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The British-led front will be more effective and will jolt the Iranian regime, Bolton claimed. ‘As Iran’s leadership becomes more and more aggressive, the West is watching. Johnson could play a key role in countering this. ‘Because Johnson faces fewer political challenges than the other European leaders involved in the nuclear deal.’ Bolton wrote in the article in a British newspaper.
