India-Pakistan war

Since the last few weeks, the Pakistan military has increased the intensity of attacks on the Line of Control. As per the information published by the government, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire 2,543 times between 1st March and 7th September. In September alone, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire 40 times, with firing and shelling and plotted attempts of terrorist infiltration. The alert Indian military has thwarted all the evil designs of the Pakistan military and the terrorists dancing to its tune. Pakistan military incited the Indian army, even on Saturday, with firing in the Rajouri and Naushera sectors. Whereas, the Pakistan military carried out firing in the Samba sector on Saturday at nearly 23.45 hours.

India-Pakistan warIndian military did not suffer any losses in the Pakistan military’s firing and mortar attacks. But it is claimed that the Pakistan military suffered major casualties, in the Indian retaliation. As per the statement issued by the Pakistan military, one Pakistani soldier was killed. But it has been exposed that the Pakistan military and media are, as usual, trying to hide the true picture from the population of the country. Pakistan plots to smuggle weapons into Kashmir using drones, under cover of this firing and shelling, on the Line of control and the international border. In the last four months, five Pakistani attempts, to smuggle weapons using drones, under cover of firing, have been busted in the actions taken by the Indian military and the Border Security Force.

Daniel Markey, an analyst with the think-tank ‘John Hopkins University of Advanced International Studies’, in the United States, has expressed concern over the tension reigning between India and Pakistan. Markey claimed while talking to a British newspaper ‘Wires and other weapons are being used in the India-China conflict. Both of these countries are trying to avoid conflict. Because they have a reason to avoid conflict, but the same cannot be said about India and Pakistan. India and Pakistan are both ready for a war and the threat of this war sparking is much greater than the India-China war.’ Markey reminded that there have been artillery exchanges on the India-Pakistan border and even airstrikes were carried out last year.

Meanwhile, only last week, General Bajwa, the Chief of Pakistan military, visited the border areas and instructed the soldiers to be prepared for war. Whereas, Indian Chief of Army Staff, General MM Naravane announced, following a visit to the Line of Control, additional deployment of 3,000 soldiers in the region, to stop the terrorist infiltration attempts.
