Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announces launch of telecom service based on quantum computing in New Delhi

New Delhi – Union Minister of Telecom and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, announced the launch of a quantum computing-based telecom service in New Delhi’s capital. Vaishnaw said that this is the first telecom service of its kind in the country. Also, Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that a new announcement will be made in India on the lines of ‘ChatGPT’, based on artificial intelligence technology.

Besides, the ‘First International Quantum Communication Conclave’ has begun in New Delhi on Monday. Union Minister for Telecom and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, made very important announcements on occasion. Vaishnaw said that there is a huge change happening in the telecom sector. Ashwini Vaishnaw also informed that a telecom network based on quantum computing technology has been launched at Sanchar Bhawan and National Informatics Centre (NIC) in the capital, New Delhi. Vaishnaw clarified that the network is very secure and its security tests are underway.

Furthermore, facilitators are involved in this process to strengthen the security through ethical hacking to test whether the telecom service is secure, Vaishnaw added. Vaishnaw also announced that a hackathon would be organized here soon and whoever hacks this system will be given a prize of ten lakh rupees.

Moreover, the Union Minister also inaugurated an exhibition organized by quantum computing companies. Vaishnaw also appealed that the companies in this sector should initiate pilot projects for the Indian Railways. At this time, Ashwini Vaishnaw indicated that the service on the lines of ‘ChatGPT’ based on artificial intelligence would be started in the country soon. But he refused to provide further details.

Meanwhile, the Union Minister clarified that no further details could be provided at the moment since the Parliament is in session. Therefore, Vaishnaw’s statement indicates that the public will have to wait a few weeks to receive more information on the matter. The Union Minister has raised curiosity about this by indicating that a communication system based on AI technology will be created in our country as well.
