Kabul/Islamabad: Tehrik-i-Taliban, a terrorist organization, has violated the ceasefire with Pakistan and declared war. Tehrik warned that their rule would be established in Pakistan, as in Afghanistan. After this, a clash broke out between Tehrik militants and the Pakistan Army on the border of Kunar province. In this, Pakistan Army has retreated, and Tehrik terrorists have set up a security post in Swat province. At the same time, Tehrik detained a Major in the Pakistan Army along with a few soldiers. Meanwhile, Tehrik has declared war on Pakistan after killing senior Tehrik commander Omar Khalid Khorasani.

On Sunday, four terrorists were killed in a car bomb blast in the Paktika province of Afghanistan. Among them was Khorasani, a senior commander of Tehrik-i-Taliban. This was considered a big blow for Tehrik. No one had accepted the responsibility for this attack. But there was a strong possibility that Pakistani forces were responsible for the attack on Khorasani near the Pakistani border. Afghan, as well as Pakistani journalists, had warned of severe repercussions of the attack.

Three days after the attack, there were reports that the Tehrik had broken the ceasefire with Pakistan, which had been in place for the past one and a half months. Tehrik has not announced this. But in a reaction released by Tehrik after Khorasani’s death, it was alleged that the enemy country had carried out the killing. Tehrik also announced that ‘a regime based on the rules of the Taliban would be established on both sides of the Durand Line’, ‘Taliban rule has been established in Afghanistan, and a similar regime will soon be brought to Pakistan’, ‘those who come in the way of this action will be attacked’.

Journalists in Pakistan have claimed that Tehrik’s threat, indirectly blaming Pakistan for Khorasani’s killing, was a declaration of war against Pakistan. Within two days of this, there were reports of a clash between Tehrik militants and the Pakistan Army near the border of Kunar province. It is claimed that the Pakistani army suffered heavy losses in this conflict. Tehrik detained Major Ahsan of the Pakistan Army and his team personnel. Tehrik is also claimed to have kidnapped a DSP rank officer of the police department in Pakistan’s Swat province. In this conflict, Tehrik has set up a security post in Swat province, and the locals claim that they have taken control of most of the areas here. The government of Pakistan has been reluctant to comment on the losses incurred in the conflict with Tehrik. But two days ago, criticism of Pakistani institutions began after the Tehrik had made a video of Pakistan Army and Police Force officers under its custody and posted it on social media.

Al-Qaeda chief al-Zawahiri was killed in a drone strike in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, a week ago. It is alleged that Pakistan provided information about Zawahiri to the US and an air route for the drone attack. Because of this, all factions within the Taliban, except the Haqqani faction, have a feeling of resentment against Pakistan. It is also coming to light that Pakistan is responsible for the attack on the top commander of Tehrik. Because of this, Tehrik’s actions in Pakistan are also getting support from other factions within the Taliban. Against this backdrop, Pakistani journalists are warning that a big crisis of the Taliban will fall on Pakistan, which was jubilant after establishing the Taliban regime in Afghanistan a year ago.
