Over 100 Taliban terrorists in operation by Afghan forces; Taliban abducts 45 Afghans

Kabul: In the last 48 hours, the Afghan military killed more than 100 Taliban terrorists in the actions taken in Helmand, Kandahar and Uruzgan provinces. This is considered to be the biggest action of the Afghan military in the last week. Whereas, it has also been reported that Taliban abducted a minimum of 45 people attacking a bus in the Herat province.

However, the conflict between the Afghan military and Taliban intensified just before the round of talks began.

These included Taliban Commanders Mullah Shafiullah and Abdul Salam. Whereas 28 Taliban terrorists were killed in action in Kandahar and 18 were killed in the Uruzgan province. Huge arms haul were also seized from Taliban locations.

While the Afghan military was executing actions in the southern Afghan provinces, the Taliban attacked a passenger bus in the Herat province. The Taliban terrorists have taken 45 passengers as hostages, from the bus. They have not made any demand for the release of the passengers. Meanwhile, the Afghan population is demanding that the government should not talk to the Taliban.
