Islamabad – The Taliban lowered the Pakistani national flag on a Pakistani cargo truck carrying aid to Afghanistan. The Taliban terrorist also announced that he would burn the flag. After the video of the Taliban’s action on the Torkham border went viral, the pro-Taliban extremists have seemingly been disillusioned in Pakistan. Some Pakistani journalists have expressed concerns that the Taliban have started showing their true colours.
A few days ago, 17 trucks left Pakistan for Afghanistan. Pakistani authorities said that the trucks were carrying essential food grain supplies for the Afghans. The trucks were passing through the Torkham border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. But two days ago, Taliban militants stationed at the Torkham border stopped one of the trucks and lowered the Pakistani flag. The video of the entire incident has gone viral on social media and has become a hot topic for discussion in the Pakistan media. Some Pakistani journalists also reminded of the threats issued by the Taliban terrorists to Pakistani security guards on the Spin Boldak border a few days ago; also, the firing, which happened on the Pakistani border. Some Pakistani journalists have also come to realize that the Taliban terrorists have turned against them.
