China will soon lead the world and support Palestine, claims senior Fatah leader

Ramallah: – Abbas Zaki, a senior leader of the Fatah party, expressed confidence saying, ‘China is emerging and will soon lead the world. China will support the stand of the Palestinian population for their freedom.’ The West Bank of Palestine is under the administration of Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah party. The Gaza Strip is under the control of Hamas. The Fatah party, led by Abbas, is considered a more liberal group. Abbas has adopted a policy of resolving the issue of bilateral relations with Israel through dialogue. During a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Al-Sisi a few days ago, Abbas said he was ready for talks with Israel.

But, last week, Zaki, a member of the central committee in Abbas’s party, spewed venom at Israel when he spoke to a Palestinian news channel. Zaki claimed, ‘Some serious changes are happening in the United States and Europe. But don’t forget that the emerging world power, China, is on your side. China will soon lead this world.’ He also reminded of the Chinese position on Palestine so far.

Zaki made an inciting statement, ‘As per a declaration made by China, stability in the region cannot be established without the independence of Palestine and the declaration of East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine. Therefore, whatever the Palestinians say, they will have the full support of China. This means that if the Palestinians are adamant regarding the rights over the region from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean tomorrow, China will recognize it. But they also know that we will not make such suicidal demands. That is why the Palestinians should start preparing to force Israel to consume every dose of this poison.’

After that, Fatah leader Zaki threatened the United States while attacking Israel. Fatah leader Zaki said, ‘Israel claims that their army is only for self-defence and the country’s democracy is like a pleasant oasis in the desert. But this is the wickedness of Israel, and the people of Israel are wicked, racist and murderous. Palestinians, on the other hand, are the victims of excessive oppression. The world will soon know that the Palestinians are the messengers of peace and Israel is the messenger of instability. The United States should change its position, or it will be isolated.’

Meanwhile, Israel has ignored the Palestinian leader’s provocation. On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett claims that he is trying to resolve the Palestinian dispute with the help of Arab countries. It was reported that the issue was discussed during a meeting with Egyptian President Sisi and Jordanian King Abdullah last month.
