Washington – In the last four months, Saudi Arabia has bought millions of diesel and gasoil barrels from Russia. It has emerged from the report of an analytic company that Saudi buys about two million barrels of diesel from Russia daily. It becomes significant that the diesel and gasoil bought by Saudi Arabia from Russia have been claimed to have been sold to the European Federation.
Due to the Ukraine conflict, the US and European countries have imposed strict economic sanctions on Russia. At the same time, Russia has also cut off the fuel supply to European countries. Accordingly, it has come to the fore that European countries troubled by the fuel crisis have been trying to buy fuel from other routes. Thus, Saudi Arabia buys diesel and gasoil from Russia and then sells it to European countries. Consequently, leaving the US behind, Saudi Arabia has become the world’s second-largest exporter of diesel and gasoil.
