Russian Navy capable of locating and rocking the enemy, warns President Vladimir Putin

Moscow: – The Russian Navy is fully prepared to protect Russia and Russian interests. The Navy can track it wherever the enemy is, underwater, on land or in the air. Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that the Russian Navy will be able to ‘Strike hard at the enemy if necessary.’ Last month, Britain’s warship HMS Defender sailed near the Crimean marine limits. Tensions between Russia and Britain were high over the issue. Against this backdrop, Putin’s warning is striking.

On Sunday, marches were held in several areas, including St. Pittsburgh, to mark the 325th anniversary of the foundation of the Russian Navy. President Putin was present at the naval manoeuvres that took place this time. This time, he praised the capability and readiness of the Russian Navy and issued warnings to the enemy. The Russian president claimed that the Russian Navy had established its presence in most of its maritime areas. Putin testified that Russia had gained a foothold in the world’s leading navies on the strength of hypersonic missiles, nuclear submarines, and coastal defence systems.

Last month, Britain’s warship HMS Defender sailed across the region near Crimean marine limits. At the time, Russian patrol boats chased British warships and fired warning shots. The Russian Defence Ministry also claimed that Russian warplanes dropped bombs in the sea to intercept a British warship. The United Kingdom, however, rejected all Russian claims. But President Putin has accused of US incitement being behind the whole affair.

In the Black Sea, Russia has taken NATO and other countries’ exercises and naval movements seriously due to the British maritime mission. Earlier this month, Russia deployed other missile systems, including the S-400, in Crimea to conduct tests from the ‘Aerial Denial Tests’ category. This was followed by a ‘bombing exercise’ with the help of ‘bombers’ and fighter jets.

Meanwhile, Russia’s foreign ministry has accused some foreign powers of artificially destabilizing the Black Sea region. Russia also demanded that the Montreux Convention be implemented appropriately, which deals with the Black Sea region. Russia also noted Turkey had an important role to play in this regard.
