Tehran: Russia fully supports the nuclear deal signed with Iran in 2015. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov demanded that the sanctions imposed by the United States against Iran should be revoked to revive the nuclear deal.
Moreover, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visited Iran and met Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. After that, Foreign Minister Lavrov held discussions on regional and international issues with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
An Iranian news channel announced that the Foreign Ministers of both the countries agreed on increasing the bilateral trade and fuel-related cooperation. At the same time, Iran has made preparations for entry without a visa for the Russian nationals. This could prove to be a significant factor in increasing bilateral cooperation.
Meanwhile, the US President is scheduled to visit the Middle East next month. Iran’s news channel claimed that the Russian Foreign Minister visited Iran before that to prepare for retaliation against the United States. A few days ago, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister visited Iran and signed an agreement for cooperation for the next 20 years.
