Kabul/London: – David Martinon, French ambassador to Afghanistan, accused that Quetta in Pakistan is a significant terrorist base and everyone knows it. At the same time, Martinon retorted against Pakistan, appealing to the Afghan leaders and people to show solidarity against foreign intervention through the Taliban.
The Taliban intends to establish its rule by taking control of Afghanistan. The French ambassador accused the Taliban of trying to get the Afghan government involved by making fake demands. In an interview with an Afghan newspaper, Martinon called on the Afghan government not to accept these demands and release thousands of Taliban prisoners.
Meanwhile, Afghan National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib visited the United Kingdom and met former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The visit has increased unease among the Imran Khan government, which has demanded that Sharif disclose details of the visit.
Last month, Mohib had slammed Pakistan of being a brothel for terrorists. There was a strong reaction from Pakistan.
